It’s Friday night again… thinking of going somewhere nice on Friday night or Saturday night for dining/ wining?
Hmmm, for this week, i just back from this dining place call Athena again, at Pavillion’s Connection wing~ ^^
Athena is named after the Greek goddess of knowledge and wisdom~
At here, you can experience the great Greek architecture together with the art of Mediterranean cooking~^^ it’s because the restaurant’s design is inspired by the Greek columns~ you can also taste the wisdom of Mediterranean style of cooking with selected mixtures of herbs in healthier cooking methods too!
The restaurant amplifies openness; the cuisine highlights authentic Mediterranean dishes such as seafood platters, ‘paella’, ‘moussaka’, ‘lamb koftas’ as well as Mediterranean styled lamb shanks and a wide selection of Mediterranean ‘mezze’ appetizers.
Most of the decorations of the restaurant uses blue as the main colour to reflect the theme~
Not only the pillars feature the Greek design, those geometrical designs designs on the wall are Greek design too~
Diners can choose from the variety on the menu, but what makes things easier is that all signature dishes are marked with a wreath – the must-trys! ^^
Athena’s Seafood Di Mare
a delicious tomato soup prepared with fresh seafood~
Eggplant Special
Grilled eggplant served with Ratatouille & Parmesan cheese… kinda reminded me of the movie Ratatouille, that’s why oredered it. hehe~

Salsa Olive Squids
Grilled squids in olive oil mixed in garlic and simmered with tomato salsa.
The seafood is fresh, and seafood is actually the main ingredient in many of the standard Mediterranean recipes, thats why you can see a lof of seafood dishes on Athena’s menu.
Pollo Parcel “Chicken in Paper Bag”
Cooked mildly with cream and julienne slice of leek, new potato with bottom mushroom… i like cream. yummy~
Di Semola Greek Feta
Athena’s famous Aglio’ Olio topped with feta cheese with your choice of pasta… looks plain rite. but the cheese added up to the plainess and taste~
Garlic Mussels
Grilled mussels served with a delicious garlic butter sauce… quite small portion compared to what I’ve had at Italiannes. this taste ok lah, but if you asked me, i would recommend Italiannes compared to this~

Athena Lamb Shank
Athena’s Lamb Shank with Baguette, Mashed Potatoes and Carrots is one of the popular dish, and Athena prepares its very own sauce for this all-time favourite! This dish itself stuffed me to the fullest. Very big portion.
I love this dining and design environment so much ^^
Athena can easily cater to groups of up to 150 people with both a stylish premium dining atmosphere as well as an al fresco casual dining area. You may enjoy easy Latin and contemporary jazz sounds as you soak in the ambience~ ^^

This restaurant serves pork-free food prepared without alcohol~ but it does offer a variety of wine and liquor.
Athena carries an extensive wine and beverage list to satisfy the needs of its discerning customers. Along the Connections at Pavilion, Athena is well known for our ice-cold, fresh from the tap beers, ranging from Tiger to Guinness Draught. Unique to Athena are the Lychee martinis and the Richland wine that has won several awards from Australia. In addition to that, Athena carries a selection of single malt whiskies including Glenfiddich and Macallan, aged up to 25 years~

Richland is their house wine and is very good and come recommended by their staffs… and it lives up to the recommendation. it’s a good one given it’s affordable price ^^

我啊！刚从东海岸回来咯，在吉兰丹和登嘉楼待了一个星期咯。
那边和这边一样，天天都在下雨的，很闷。。。咯！
那边，有海边哦…… 好想念有沙有海有天有太阳的那边~ 下雨哦…… 就不好玩了，又哮喘，不能玩水了~
对啊！原本以为可以一边工作一边享受海滩海风的，结果咧。。。
就整天闷在酒店而已，想出街都难，一片湿淋淋的好闷哦。
只能说去得不是时候吧？
小彤有哮喘的啊？那可要小心点了哦！可大可小的呢！
好悲哀哦…… 我是说那画面，可以想象到，天暗暗的，没有阳光，然后一直下着雨，海边的沙湿湿的，周围都一样…… 如果我在那里，一定会不知飘到了那里…… 对呀，可大可小，我医生也是很紧张~
唉。。。白白浪费了咯！
原来小彤会飘的啊？还好现在不是七月了！哈。。。
看来你的身体也是蛮多的毛病哦！而且工作又忙，所以还是那么一句要好好照顾身体哦！
知道了，由小身体就非常不好，中三时最严重，其中一次，医生说如果迟送去医院两分钟，我就已经死了…… 那次抢救了好久，也住院了好久…… 哈哈还好现在活得好好~
原来如此！你的人生还蛮多高潮的嘛！连生死的边缘也经历过，一生人中有几个人可以有幸运女神的照顾呢？常人说：大难不死必有后福！或许就是这样子吧！

终于盼到美食专栏了/(*oo*)/ ,Eggplant Special卖相很好噢，味道怎样？海鲜汤味道感觉也很好吃，好像去(*,oo,*)。我妹妹有时候要到外地去查账的，做accountant的
其实还有非常多可以介绍给大家哦，你较喜欢美食专栏哦，那以后每个星期五我都尽量分享美食好吗~~~~
它的味道还好，有点小特别，只是餐前的小吃~ 那个汤就普通了些，但是海鲜很新鲜！！
妹妹她常去外地，一个女孩子要多加小心哦……
不需要每星期介绍啦，有比较特出还是味道不错的餐厅就放上来参考参考就好，都将忙了还要定期做专栏，难道真的要我叫你小胖呀。等下累坏你，小彤的fans会抗议阿。妹妹都是有同事一起工作的，应该还好吧，有罗嗦她的，放心。有空放点虎哥照片上来，无聊想做part 2 (*oo*）

hey hey… jus back from there. nice food. i like their wine. very nice for the price. i just had a bottle of house wine. and this place kitchen closes very late. so, when others are closed around pavilion, athena is an option (or maybe the only option – haha)
yeah love the wine too, no wonder it wins alot awards hehe~ all kitchens closed d and left it and another one… but that one is more to hk style of foods… i prefer this than that alot~~~~ now feel hungry d ><
