Don’t worry everyone… though there’s blood, it’s nothing too serious (up till now at least).
so, what’s with all these? well, you can call it a ‘love’ bite… at least to me it is, coz i do get it out of love. here, have a look:
scary??? not really. it’s not really a person type of love bite. from the photos, you would probably see that there’s only like 4 teeth and i guess you all would have been able to guess that it is caused by an animal. haha… an animal lover being bitten, but i guess it’s quite normal rite? but this is really out of love. curious about how it happens??? here it goes…
last night just got back from a friend’s place, thinking about how happy it is to be able to help another small creature in need. our friend actually given up on this new doggie that she has because she can’t get to train him properly. and so, she turns to us to help her look for a good owner for this doggie and at the mean time, take care of it. when i first saw the lil doggie, he looks so patient and adorable that i couldn’t restrain from carrying it in my lap all the way back. once back, we place it inside it’s cage and let it settle down. after settling down, we let him out to roam around and explore the place. all things look well, and i must say it’s really such a lovely and warm scene when he jumped onto the sofa and rest his head on my lap. i started petting it and sayang it… but then all started to change. out of a sudden, it goes all wild and start biting and attacking me. my heart and mind went all blank and out that i’ve no idea what happened until a colleague yell at it to stop! even after stopping, i was still in shock but this small doggie was still in so much anger that it is still growling. never in my life that i’ve encounter such close encounter and it happened in such a sudden. i’m lost back then… lost without anything running in my head and lost with my heart beat. this is really so unbelievable.
everyone that witness the incident was in such a shock that we do not know what reaction to give it. what went wrong? did i touch him at some place that i shouldn’t? did something scared him? this is all so strange and weird.
thinking that this could be an unwanted accident, we did not take any action against it and let it continue to roam around. after a while, it started to approach people again. this time, it was Da Wei that it goes to. He started to play with it joyfully and it even turn its back around to let him rub his tummy. the lil doggie seems to enjoy it so much and we thought that all went well. but after playing with it for a while, it started to go berserk again and this time it’s even crazier and harder… look down:
this is the amount of injury that we would never thought such a small animal will caused (it’s size is only a quarter to our Ah Fu). how could such things happen again and again? what is actually wrong? is it the noise of the band that comes from downstairs? is it the shock of moving into a new place? we really can’t tell. looking at how things are going, we decided to put it back into his cage to monitor it closer.
we noticed that it gets overly temperamental and angry whenever we raised our hand. so, we decided to start training it immediately. what we did is that everytime we raised our hand, it will start to growl but we will calm it down with a dog snack… and it works! after a few times, he is not scared of the hand raising. from this, we can determine that he must have been beaten terribly before to make it scared of such normal gestures. so, in return of the fear, it will protect itself and gets angry.
however, we still do not understand my situation. how can a lovely pet, turn out to be something so stressful? no matter how we think, we are not sure about it.
finally, we decided to ask our friend and she told us that this dog has a real bad history… the story goes like this:
a month ago, my friend actually received a cute lil doggie from her friends. this mix breed looks so torn down and lonely that my friend decided to take care of it with all her heart. but little does she knows that this doggie received so much of a suffering from it’s previous owner… to which it breaks my heart hearing about it. it seems that it’s previous owner never care or love for this dog. what he do best is to cane him so hard so frequent with ROTANS!!! can you imagine caning a dog that is only of the size of a cat??? this is so crazy! after long talk with my friend, and also some experts, we get to conclude what actually happened!!! to make things worse, he will lock him inside the cage for many days and not give it any food. and lets imagine, whenever it’s feeding time, the owner’s 2 other dogs will come over and eat up all its food. how miserable can life be?! beaten and starved at the same time. it explains well why it protects its food so much now, and if we walk over while its eating, it goes all crazy and damn angry!!! and that is not the end to the misery. the owner will actually tempt the doggie over with snacks just so that he can get hold of it to beat it up, and this explains why it is so afraids of dog snacks at times no matter how desperate it wants to eat them >< but what anger me most is that i was told even the maid enjoys beating and abused it… and might in a more meaner ways like letting the doggie sleeps next to her and start pampering it and once the dog got comfortable, she will strangle its neck and start beating it non-stop… that explains why it will attack me even when i was pampering it, esp if i touch its head!!! my friend kena it too no matter how much she sayang it, it attacks her still, as it reminds it so bad about the maid!!!! in just a night, we all attacked by it for times, can u imagine how many attacks my friend received in a month time? it doesnt trust anyone at all now, no matter what u do, how u try… my friend said that it attacks her no matter how many times she sayang him as it thinks that she is the maid who abused him.. and me too… it barks so angry when see girls… it hate girls… oh yeah, the very first day my friend got it, it was very very very thin like bone, a month ago, and my friend is the one feeding it until it looks normal now, but still, it doesnt trust us, and think that we will rampas its foods and starve it anytime… how sad is this…?
our friend feel so terrible after knowing about our incident and kept apologizing for not pre-empting us earlier on this. but she is not to be blamed as we know a soft and gentle girl like her could hardly care for such a mess-up behaviour dog. but it was what the previous owners did that anger me most. what the hell is wrong with these people?!? don’t they have feeling or any sense? regardless of what the doggie did, there’s no one reason for them to torture it like this… these are brainless… heartless… cruel… people. what is happening to mankind? how can all this be allowed to happen???? i don’t believe it… i just can’t believe it. this just break my heart completely…
now, looking at the dog i feel so helpless and sad. i’m not angry with it biting me but rather i feel sad for it. we tried various ways to calm it down and to allow it to accept our love and cares, but it just seem so hard and impossible because it is protecting itself so much that every move we make will anger it (or rather frighten it till it goes wild). we are so pointless now on what to do. we have spoken to a Thai pet store near our place that we are closed to, explain to them the situation and it angers them so much too. The reason we turned to them is because these Thai people have been so kind to adopt stray/ mix dogs, and they have alot of adult big dogs there which are very well-trained, like Rottweilers, Chow Chows, German Shepherds, Husky, Golden Retrievers etc… but as much as they want to help, they just can’t because as of now, they already have more than 20 different dogs for them to take care of. we consulted our vet who could not believe what he hears. our vet thinks that it is rather hard to train it because it has gone through so much that it is now lost and can’t control itself. we asked for our neighbour with more than 30 dogs to help it but he also say it is helpless. All these people have been telling us there are not much choices beside ignoring it or put to sleep. when all these people with so many years of experience can’t offer any help, it breaks all our hopes… but irregardless of all this, we still do not want to give up.
for now, i’m urging everyone who are reading this to please try to see if you know anyone who are good, experienced and kind enough to train and take care of him. please forward and share this with everyone and anyone that you know. we will never know that out there there would be someone that is capable of helping him… this doggie may be helpless all his life, but at least for now, we can try to offer him this help.
no dog or person in this world that deserves to live like this. there’s always hope and i’m sure, with the help of everyone, this helpless guy can be saved. please extend your love and hand to help us…
all these drops of blood is nothing as long as we can make a different for this small doggie… sacrifices are in need, but as long as this small lil guy can be saved… it is worth it… even when there’re blood everywhere.

yeah damn pain, even now oso hand numb n pain >< but it cant compare with its pain i know… have been consulting quite some experts n pet shops… most of them say no way to help it d cuz it sot sot d…

我以前也是有一只狗，类似这样的情况，我本身是主人也被咬了无数次，后来请教了训狗师。
它对人极度不信任，所以就要慢慢建立起它对人类的信任，最直接的方法就是先由主人开始，亲自喂它吃，每一餐都要该主人亲自喂它吃。
大约一个月吧，它开始对我信任，过后也继续以同样的方式，由其它家人喂它吃。
当然，这期间绝对不能骂或打，或者对它作出一些不友善的动作。
你的那只狗也被以前的主人虐待吗？=（ 还好有你这样有耐心的好主人……
我帮它按摩抚摸时，它很享受，但是突然间，就大力咬我了。它是星期六夜晚来的，这几天都有尝试用手喂食，狗饼狗零食都有，但……每一次都被它很大力的咬到流血……
被咬后一次都没有打骂它，因为了解它的创伤…… 希望我可以坚持下去…… 希望它也会像你的狗狗一样逐渐对我建立起信任……谢谢你啊，这个城市需要多一些像你这样的伟大主人!!! =)

Mmm…I know you’re kind of an animal lover especially dog (I used have one, pair of black Peking dogs, he’s so cute+smart to catch a rats until he almost die by electric shock when he was chase a rat unto the fridge!), but you don’t need to treat the dog so overwhelming especially to a “stray” dog like that.
Any infectious to your sweet tiny hand?…God, I hope not!
Quick, wash your sweet tiny hand with alcohol to sterilized the virus!…and next time no blood around, please.
I suggest if you want to train that “stray” dog professionally, you better contact a dog trainer near you rather than jeopardize yourself, okay?
And treat him so gently, no sudden movement when he resting (don’t shock him even with your gently touch!…especially to new comer dog only, he will bites you when you do that!)
Let him familliar with his new environment for few days until he’s being so nice & easy according to his reaction when you tease him prominently.
Hope this works well+help you to “menjinakkan” that “stray” dog according to my experience, 哈哈哈! ☺…

yeah i think ur way to menjinakkan it is really useful to me ^^ really need to treat it gently and careful with my movement all the time, don wanna frighten it again~ anyway, ur peking is so cute n helpful, chase rat haha.
Hmm… for me.. stray dog is a dog too… wild dog is a dog too… mix breed or pure breed is the same too… i will see what else i can do to calm it… really appreciate ur sharing of experiences…i just hope to help it or get some professional (who don’t cane for discipline) to help it too.. :(

Sweetie, I had been being a dog paramedics by the time I save my lovely dog from death by doing CPR when his nose skin was sticking on the fridge compressor by accident when he’s chasing a rat that time (he ran too fast!).
Phew!…I’m so glad that he delay his death.
I won that life & death battle 1-0 that nite, yippee!
But honestly I’m so scared to lose him, because he looks so terrible after that tragic moment that nite, he was unable to breathe a while.
And I’ve been bite by dog once on my “pupu→located a few centimeter above my leg” exactly.
Thank God, no serious wound effects!

Let that dog familiar with his new environment within few days ahead, then try to look that dog reaction later on by tease the dog prominently.

它们也是有生命的，要养它就要爱它啊。国外的人把宠物当家人一样对待，这里却经常听到看到宠物被虐待。所以应该让要养宠物的人上课，纠正饲主的观念。

go to the shop and some dog stuff
like the one to shut the mouth b4 that wear a pair of glove
put on the con(hard 1) for him untill eating or snack time release the dpg mouth thing(ok i 4got wats it but please dont shoot me)
and according to christopher thats also something i agree by letting it get use to its new environment. get a trainer for it but make sure everything is told to the trainer.
this reminds me of my sisters dog which had bite my hand 3-4 times lucky it didn’t bite it didnt reach my wrist. ur movement n strength must becareful(cant control or actually dont know exactly how much strangth i use XD)

ya thats what i believed too… no matter wat… i disagree to put to sleep so far…. although everyone who has been consulting tell me the same and say its helpless… i know what u trying to say, both the things we bought d… the dog bite sleeve and the dog muzzel…
trainers that we asked are either too expensive or they cane them for disciplines , this dog most of them said hopeless d cuz its insane d.. and its like more than 3 years old n mix breed, thats why alot of them unwilling to take it as it influences other dogs too：（
after discussion, we are going to buy a very long dog chain for it.. and place in one of my colleague house which has a small garden for it to run around easily… it must tie up cuz it cant go outside… it will attack anyone anytime… if kids around den really dangerous… and we disagree to put it inside cage all the time.. its too cruel… we will feed it with sufficient of water/ food… but even feeding time it goes real wild too… so… haha, we are all ready for attacks again n again d:P thanks for tellin me to b careful.. i will, thanks so much ya =）

But I am even sadder when reading the story of the little dog.
I am totally agree with you that stray dog is also a dog, and it can be a very good dog too,
if it is given loves and cares.
My dog Mico is a mixed (totally couldn’t figure out her breed), and I adopted it 1and a half year ago, simply because my friend couldn’t keep it in his hostel after 1 month he found it.
She is very obedient and has learned a lot of commands by now.
I think the little dog is very feared of human and has no confidence with anyone. Its mind is very affected by its previous owners for whole life. But we shouldn’t give up its life because of that. I’ll help out to find any idea to do with this.
To those who don’t love dog/stray dog, you could ignore the dogs but please don’t destroy their lives as you like . People who has a kind heart will take care of it.
hi sally, how have u been?? yaya, my hand is okay don worry. im very sad too… we have been doing alot to help it… shifted it to a house, with a little garden for it to play around… the cage door is open, it can enter or out anytime… but yest night… it actually broke the cage… and hurt its eyes… it went crazy n wanted bite us at times too… if we able to escape… it will lost all control up to the extend of biting itself… it makes my heart aches like hell…
yup, stray dog is a dog too, i wont call them stray dog, they can b very obedient and sayang their owners too… they will feel thankful and recognize those who feed them foods on street too, all dogs are same for me… and im so happy that i have u agree this with me here ^^

小孩与小狗被虐打不断在脑海里交错,
心寒的不得了…
现在的社会,究竟怎么了?
希望狗狗能早日找到能训练它的人,
走出被虐打的阴影…
我也是很心寒，还有那么多强奸小孩的案件，现在的社会，到底为什么变成这样了…… 谋杀虐待等每天都在上演着…… 我开始每天都带着防心了…… 还是和动物相处时较为怡然自得~
Sorry to hear about your injury and the dog history. I guess the only way the dog can learn more comfortably is to live with another owner who have a dog or two and from their bonding with other dogs, he can start to trust human again as he will see the dogs related to the owner.
However it is not for certain that he/she wont go attack mode again so what it can help if he dont see or introduce to any new human. Let him learn to trust one master first.
Did anyone that any action to the previous owner?
Maybe next time before you interact with other dogs you want to help, ask the owner about the history. It could be prevented such “blood shed”. Go for a check up if the dog has not be vaccinated.
Here’s some suggest to handle the dog:
1. What you can do for dog for now is to let him/her to have a small area to rest and make sure no one even the owner go into that area for sometime so that he/she will know it is her place to sleep and rest. Fense that area up. this is good because the dog will see the real physcial boundaries of safety.
2. If you need to feed him or play with him, open the gate and let him come out to play and eat.
3. Bring the dog out to meet other dogs to play. let the dog see how other dogs play with their owners
4. Stop all treats since he see treats as trap. Feed only the meal time at a fix timing. Do a time table in a quite environment. After a period of 2 months or so, I am pretty sure he will be better. Meanwhile playing don’t play so much in touching. if he like to play ball or soft toy, just let him play in his safety area.
See what works for him. Good luck.

yeah, i was trying to let it live with other dogs… but it gets so angry and wanted attack/ bite if the dog is bigger(even if a little bit) than it… cuz it was bullied by bigger dogs before… den we tried mix it with small dogs/ same size dogs… but it becomes dai koh then… @.@ the situation gets kinda complicated then… the other dogs become not obedient too d then… (even my VERY obedient ah fu also… but now i separated them, so ah fu okay d again)… when it sees the bond of other dog with owner… it looks so angry n jealous… sigh…
we didnt take any action as we do not know the exact full story of it… this poor doggie has been changing few owners, its the very 1st one abused it terribly, 2nd one is nice, 3rd one is my fren, now is us… but dont worry, i wont give up easily, im loving it so much now and everyday will surely go over my colleague house play with it after work, no matter how tired also wil, its now part of my life d~
don worry, this doggie is vaccinated d~ and ya, will surely ask more next time… hehe still lack of experience in lotsa stuff, get too happy and wanna pamper those little lives whenever see them… its second time d actually…. sometime ago when i was at spca, and a dog bite me too when i sayang it, after that only i know its an abused dog too, luckily its not serious lah~
the dog is now having his own small area d… we try to fence it earlier … but it gets angry till its nose bleeding…. and it squeezes out, ignore how painful it is just to squeeze out… it wanna escape from the area… keep escaping and keep hurting itself… i cant afford to see it and so… we didnt fence it or put it in cage anymore… even cage also it can squeeze out from the very tiny gap… many many times… front side top bottom… all also… its very painful as u can imagine… i watch it till cry earlier >_< my colleague gives it an umbrella and also a dog house as shelter, in case the rain pours in, but it angry and attack all those till broken fully… into pieces… @@
at least, it starts to trust me, its not too hopeless like what others have been telling me, and im really very happy to see it =)

Sweetie, talk about your cute tiny hairy buddy I think your dog will getting more friendly to his own master when you’re taking care your dog since he was baby like I did to every dog I have recently, Peking dogs (short feet+hairy body with cute tiny nose).
Anyway, did your friend handed her dog over you temporarily or she gave the dog to you permanently?…
According to my certain point of view & analyzis, thing is going more complicated especially handling teen ager dog.
It will take more attention, patience, and sharp senses to tame the teen ager dog.
And I’m sure you can do it so well because you have sense of a dog lover just like me, cause you like to sayang it all the time, right?
No doubt it!…but watch out for those smooth tiny hair, it could threatening your lung as lung disease→”Penyakit Asma” (it will produce sound like “ngik-ngik” when you breathe) by the time you inhale it coincidently+unrealizable.
(No offense!…did you notice that your health is a lot more important than that dog?)
Just be more tricky handling teen ager dog consider he ain’t started grew up as a baby dog, okay?

coop is a puppy, it has been waiting long to go back home and stay together with its owner again, my friend and I sent it back to its home the other day and we both are really happy for it, esp when we saw it licking its owner and running around happily haha~
awww scared of some gestures, that’s sad to know that the puppy was treated like that. ohh don’t forget you also have a dog, ah fu right? dogs are very jealous pets, if they smell another dogs scent there a probability that they’ll be barking at you.. well it depends on the breed and training though..
ya… ah fu is okay, haha, he didnt bark at us at all.. din even bother anything @@ and still manja around haha

Owning dogs my entire life, now especially as an adult, I can truthfully say that the unconditional love of our pets is one of the biggest delights of our lives every single day. Their love, phrase, smooches and feelings is stunning on a scale you have to experience to understand. Folks can know a lot through dogs. They’re a treasure.
