YES YES YES!!

oh YES, was at a movie premiere again… ^^

Have you ever say no to anyone? Have you ever thought what will happen if that “no” that you’ve blurped out turn into a “yes”? Perhaps things will turn out as such:

So, it is really true that the 1st word we learnt is “NO”? No to vegetables… No to sleeping in early… No to going to schools…. NO NO NO… but what will happen if we have a new NO now? How about a YES as the new NO? Would things really be so much different if everything that we come up to turn out to be a Yes? Will it really turn out as this:

Well, who knows? But after watching the premiere of YES Man yesterday…

I kinda believe that if we do say a Yes to everything, it may really turn out that we are really saying Yes to opportunity? Well, what do you have to lose anyway by saying Yes? Nothing too much to lose, rite? I’m in the believe that if you give it a try, there’s 50% of a success rate that it will turn out the way you want… but a NO will give you 0%, rite? So, why not try to take in this new NO… let’s say YES!!!

Don’t get me wrong here ya. I’m not trying to motivate you guys to go out and sell anything. I just feel that it’s really an opportunity to try to say YES to life and really see where it will take you.

Apparently, this movie is an adaptation from this book by Danny Wallace, also by the name YES MAN. The book has also appear as The Sunday Times Bestseller once.

I’m not sure if the book is as good as the movie but it has been some time since I last come to a movie where you will start to think a while and yet get a good laugh out of it. Some of the scenes from the movie takes me back to the times when I also used to be a Yes Man. I’ll say Yes to give out foods to the homeless at the backstreet… I’ll say Yes to help to collect recycle goods from each house in Cyberia… I’ll say Yes to help my friends to complete their assignments… I’ll say Yes to so many things. Back then, life is really different. You get to meet so many different people and learn so many different things. It really widens the way you look at life. But now, it’s like whenever I want to say Yes, something always turn up and turn it into a “Maybe”… and that will mostly lead to a “No”. Does time really change us or are we changing with time? There’s just so many questions in life that we need to answer to… but if we really come to think of it, perhaps a simple “Yes” will make life better :)

Well NO… I mean Yes… well, no you should not listen to me… but yes you should really give the movie a shot… well well well… whatever. Just buy a ticket and have a good laugh if you don’t like the value of it. Either way, you’ll get entertained for sure (we still have Jim Carrey anyway ;))
