Swordssss

Wow… my mind is full of images of swords now. I think it is only in the comic world that such different and unique swords can exists. Ma Wing Shing is quite brilliant to be able to come up with so many different of them.

You get to see this black sword that is so solid and make from the finest materials called The Sword of Ultimate Superiority (Jue Sai Hou Kim).

Then, you’ll see this sword with a ring (which look more like a sword) used by Lit Fung owned by his dad – The Snow Blade – Suet Yam Dou.

And you have the sword that is made from the blood of Kilin, the Fire Kilin Sword (Foh Long Kim) who is said can withdraw the Kilin blood from others.

And the so called Cursed sword, that no one could ever complete making, that needs the Kilin blood to make it useful – the Jue Sword.

Just within 1 movie and you got exposed to so many swords…

The more I think of it, the more swords I can see flying in my head. From the earlier days, I would have remember bout Yi Tin and Tou Long sword from Yi Tin Tou Long Gei. Den you may read about how Arthur become a King after removing the sword from the stone. And in our history, the used of keris as one of the swords.

In the movies these days, we can also still see so many differen swords used. From Kill Bill’s Japanese sword – katana, to the Eastern sword by Zorro and the future sword of Star Wars – the light saber. Can you imagine how the used of sword has actually evolved into.

Well, actually I’m kind of a swordswoman too. I have a few collections of sword myself… ^^
