Yeah, i was there @ ManHanD promo tour, Leisure
Mall… who are these ppl? well, they are a bunch of young
ppl who form the band “ManHanD”. Singing cantonese
songs. Pretty cool right? After their promo tour in M’sia,
they are goin to HK as hong kong music industry already
spotted their talents~
Their songs are like lmf but without foul language, i lov
mc hotdog, i lov hip hop i lov rap, and at 1st i was like
who is ManHand? so brave to sing n produce Cantonese
album here in Malaysia, but after listenin to it, i do think
ManHand’s songs r reali nice, esp the lyrics.

But open ur eyes n see, why why why, Malaysia has got so many
shinny inborn talent stars, why must they go s’pore/taiwan/HK etc
only get famous, is it reali no room for them here at our fatherland?

hi Lisa. Actually I am looking for manhand picture and I wanted to see how they look like so that I can recognize them completely. Meanwhile, I accidentally come to this website, I tought you are the girl in that group, read properly, I found you are not. haha! But let’s heart compare to heart and say that, you are suppose to match in this group, means replace the girl in the group by you. Why? Because I feel you are more like star… hehe.
I found one of a reason that singer in Malaysia is hardly famous not because Malaysian doesn’t like them, that is Malaysian used to admire very high quality singer and always required perfect. Sad to say that, I can see most of the Malaysian singers… lack of a very handsome and pretty for out look. Eg, Taiwan singer, cai cai (one member of F4 previously). Do you think you can find one of the singers in Malaysian as handsome as him and still can sing and act?? If yes, it is rarely and only can sing most properly. It is damn hard to get famous in Malaysia. Another eg, Lam Fong (hk artist), can you found same level singer/artor as him? I don’t think so. Somemore, their promotion is done greatly to make them famous if compare to Malaysia.

hey u are manhand fans? hehe they changed their fashion style and songs style alot d~ haha impossible im the girl in the group, she is very tall and very eye-catchy on stage, esp when wearing shorts/ mini skirts, she has really nice long legs~
there are many beauties and handsome guys in Malaysia, just that they are not so into entertainment industry, hehe im sure soon we will have more n more awesome singers in Malaysia, perhaps need some time~ ^^

I am not manhand’s fans… but I like their few songs like 咩人, 慢游世界, 慢行 & Latido. The others are so so for me only. As such, I defined myself not their fans yet. Anyway, their news I heard some from 988, few of their group create the these songs, it is great to sing in different ways/styles. The lyric is attractive to me and it is damn enjoy when listening, feel want to listen it again and again.
Yes, I knew there are a lot of youngsters who are beauty and handsome in our country since I am in secondary school. I just wonder the entertainment company not good enough to explore it out. That’s why I said, the method/strategy they use to explore them is still lack of initiative. By the way, I start see they organize many events & competition like ‘I want to be superstar’ to encourage potential talents singer join.

Today I read a news related with local artist, many of them went oversea to sustain or to expand their career’s path. The reasons are so many pirated VCD/DVD in M’sia, company don’t have much profit with their album for sales. Nowadays, the company like ‘gun3 shi2′ in M’sia, their profit drop 80% if compare to pass few years. Yes, I agreed there are a lot of talent peoples in M’sia, but how they get the profit to sustain and expand their reputation and famous in M’sia. I think this is a very good point as I almost couldn’t see how their profit come from, except from conduct concert, advertisement and acting. What I mean is, do they get profit from selling the original DVD/VCD for their songs??
Let’s compare to other countries like hong kong and taiwan, how their singers could sustain and expand their profit? Do they support orginal VCD/DVD usually? If yes, is their VCD/DVD is cheaper than what we imagine? I heard one of my friends went to hong kong, yes they also got pirate, but don’t forget most of them is chinese, no matter how low is their profit, it is still more than in M’sia as there is just a portion chinese peoples in M’sia. This is how their company still can sustain and expand to oversea if compare to M’sia.
Still, when we always said support original VCD/DVD, is there any method to encourage peoples to support? Except getting off the pirate which police is doing this very hardworking. As I knew, the price of original VCD/DVD also keep dropping and never increase, but why still very less peoples to support original VCD/DVD?
For me, I rarely listen song thru hi-fi, commonly from pc. If is pc, I believe many of them surely able to download the songs that they love to listen after a month that new song comes out. This is what I understand original VCD/DVD no chance to get profit from here. What do you think?
haha yeah, these days, singers don’t earn money much from album selling, for me, i think album acts more like a name card, it represents your identity as singers, when a song is good, everyone starts listening and singing it, and people starts knowing and talking about the singer, and its when there are more n more people heard about his/ her name~ when one is famous, he/ she gets alot of paid shows/ concerts, hehe, being in event/ entertainment industry, we pay quite high at times for local singers to make appearances/ photo or video shoots/ sing a song or two during corporate dinners/ press conferences/ roadshows/ events etc… when a singer is more n more famous, he/ she gets to become brands ambassador too~ these are how they can earn more money then, album is just a stepping stone~ ^^ if i able to manage singers nez time, i will make sure he/she gets to fully utilize his/ her beautiful voices and other talents, make sure all the songs in album are good (don’t want only 1 or 2 main songs are nice in an album like most in market now), when his/her songs are truly good, people will surely listen to it by downloading/ buying, for me, i think its okay to download, as there is nothing we can do to avoid it, the more people download, it shows the more people know those songs, and the more famous one become, and everything is easier then as he/she goes far for sure~ hehe just my opinion la

You clear the doubt of 1 year just have maybe 1-2 album for a singers in many cases. Agreed, album just a stepping stone to go futher.
Just want to comment a bit regarding make sure all the songs in album are good. I personally don’t think it is possible. The examples for this can be seen no one, just can said that there are half songs in album is good, and the outstanding good should be 1-2 or 2-3 songs. If this happens means it great already, eg. Beyond’s ‘er lou hou zhuo’ album; Yan Zi’s ‘happiness’ album. I strongly agreed the rule of in-perfect in this world, that’s y an album to come out for all the best songs put together for a singer, eg Fei Wong’s all the best songs album, hehe!~ Of course, if it happens all the songs are good and 2-3 songs are outstanding good, then is perfect!~ I will fistly go to investigate who is the manager to manage this album for sell, hopefully I could see your name appear.
Besides, I agreed for majority profit come from events such as concert, shows, n etc. I think advertisement and representative for a product make them earn and sustain reputation a lot. This industry really can organize anything that is creative to achieve more profit using singer’s reputation/rate of famous as it gather the network of peoples so much. I think this is why you love this industry and enjoy to having it? Anyway, organizing an event is fun for me, hope you can share more experience on how the event been organize successfully with little creative way.

See you in this industry, must be busy and get a lot of fun with it. Sometimes the success of an event, not only the feeling of satisfaction… there are many many others that no word can tell. If got chance, I also hope to involve as partime, to enjoy the process during planning, stage setup, conducting other party for sponsor… etc. For me, most important to see how this event make profit to company… hehe.
