I always look up to da bright lights shining over the road every time I pass by. The “Korea Stone BBQ Steamboat” words always catch my attention… well, i love to eat

Yest nite, finally I made the move. Once step in, I saw a huge variety of raw meat and seafood for BBQ. Moving up, there was another row for steamboat and on my left – a table full of vege. I just couldn’t stop stacking up the foods onto my plate – lamb, chicken, dried meats, crabs (whole of it), prawns (big ones), meat balls, etc~
If you can’t wait for the water to boil, there are ready foods for you too… not too many but there are meehoon, fried rice, sushi and kim chi~
Back on my table, there are 2 stoves there – the BBQ plate and the pot for steamboat. As for steamboat this round, I opt for Bak Kut Teh and Tom Yam. The Bak Kut Teh was too plain and the Tom Yam was too hot. The BBQ plate however is good. Couldn’t stop cooking and eating, but the hot oil was painful >.<
The drink is on free flow, when you pay RM1.00 extra~ and u can also opt for a pot of tea. There are free flow of ice kacang / ice-cream too.
It’s not too hot as there are a lot of mist fans around to keep you cool.
And looking over the busy street of Ampang, you just feel so good that you are not down there in the jam… but up here enjoying your meal :P
The crowd is not many and it makes me wonder why. With the variety of food here, I suppose it is better than the other places such as Talipon Restaurant. I think it’s because of the name – Korea Stone BBQ Steamboat. If it states there all-you-can-eat, I’m sure the response would be better. But then again, too many people may spoil the mood here.
For just a plain RM19.80, you get to feast in all these. It is a worthy meal and a place to go to.
Although the price is slightly higher than other steamboat places, but I know if I bring my frenz ther, esp my girls~ they will definitely love the place!

Guess what, was googling for “Korea Stone BBQ Steamboat” after I spotted this restaurant 2 weeks ago while I was on my way to Lookout Point. Google brought me in here and then only I realised that it is a blog of someone in my friendster list! LoLz! Well, for those who want to get to this restaurant, and if you have a GPS device, this is the location: N 03 08.744 E 101 46.190 (Elevation 59m), it is not very accurate as I was driving at that moment but it will for sure guide you till the main road right in front of the restaurant, no worries ;)
