For me I think there is no how good and how bad you are in playing instruments, it all boils down to what is coming from inside. A person who has knows 100s of techniques and chords sometimes cannot beat a person who just know basic chords and has come out with a very melodic tune. It ain’t matter how much you know but what passion you have inside for making music … :P.
Lisa in her songs has nothing fancy just straight forward melodic that is why her songs are great.
Sometimes I think too much technique will cloud the flow of creativity. I don’t know about you but amateur like me prefers more creativity than techniques..wukakakaka.

wah…faster share some, we are going to see another Lisa Lavie in the making :P. wukakaka, but sometimes isn’t it easier to write songs that just come in an instant than those songs you really try so hard to write but nothing comes out?
