It’s a campaign powered by JobsDB.com and it’s something like Apprentice, just that this 8 weeks search is in Malaysia for the next Corporate Hotshot! There are actually 7 cool companies involve in this campaign, every and each from very different industry such as network recruitment, communication, people and brand development, publication, music, retails and also fitness. Contestants (final year students) who have their job preferences in any of the industries can actually join this contest in the coming road show…

50 contestants will be short listed then, after some tasks given, 7 will remain and each of them will be able to win attractive prizes and a dream job with the companies. The corporate hotshot will walk away with RM 5,000 cash beside those prizes and also the job! And so, what’s this campaign gonna do with me? I was so shock and my eyes lit up when I was being told that I’m the selected official blogger for this campaign, to write and talk about this campaign in lisayap.com and also be the admin of the campaign’s blog later. I thought it was a joke till I attended the very first meeting… wow… cool… this competition is not only giving a very effective industry learning experience to the final year students by preparing them to face the real working world later, but also giving me a golden chance to be there from the beginning till the end of the entire campaign. I got to meet so many key people esp the directors from those companies. And I really learn a lot by just listening to their conversation in those meetings… It’s really interesting to know about the different industries and how each one of them have achieved their goals, any obstacles they went through and personal tips on how to achieve success in the working world…
